Intergenerational March to commemorate Orange Shirt Day

About

For those who took part in the march, we thank you for attending. We invite you to share your thoughts and send messages of solitary to our speakers and organizers of today’s event.

Provide Event Feedback or Messages of Solidarity to Speakers

This event was led by Applied Science and Land and Food Systems and supported by the President's Office at UBC.

Join us for an intergenerational march to commemorate Orange Shirt Day (OSD). Members of the UBC community, families and those in solidarity are welcome to participate. The march is intergenerational, and aims to be educational and supportive to the Indigenous community on campus and beyond. Educational activities will allow younger participants to connect with the original inhabitants of the land and plant a seed to continue these conversations about a difficult era in Canadian history at home.
